How is Gross Yield calculated? back to top >
Gross yield is found by dividing the annual rental return for a property by the purchase price of that property.

For instance, if a property costs $400,000 and rents for $600 per week:

$600 per week multiplied by 52 weeks in a year is $31,200 per annum.

$31,200 per annum divided by $400,000 purchase price is 7.8%

This means the gross yield for the property in this example is 7.8%.

Why is Property Billboard Free? back to top >
Property Billboard was created for property investors, by property investors. In 2006 of a group of property investors who needed somewhere to find deals to buy, and somewhere to advertise deals to trade, came up with the idea for Property Billboard.

The idea was to create an open marketplace specifically for New Zealand property investors, where we could all come to buy and sell investment property deals. Naturally the greater the number of investors using this marketplace the better it is for the overall property investment community (including us)... so after a few months of development propertybillboard.co.nz was launched and is completely free to use without restriction. Our only requirement is that all deals posted on the site are to be of investment nature.
Why was my property listing rejected? back to top >
All property listings are manually approved by the team at Property Billboard. We want to ensure that the site is only offering investment properties that are attractive to investors that are visiting the site. You will be notified by email if your listing does not meet the standards required in our assessment criteria.
